In the spring of 1819, a young fellow by the title of Henry Shaw from Sheffield, England landed in the small French village if St. Louis, Missouri. There he established up a company selling hardware to the settlers that had been heading out from the "Gateway to the West." Business was great and he was in a position to retire by the age of 40. Ole Henry would soon become the largest landowner in the city. He constructed Tower Grove Home, which became his estate, and purchased fairly a bit of land about it. Lots of music to appreciate with 200 performances on 10 different phases. On Friday evening at the Pepsi R&B / Jazz Stage the Bugs Beddow Band and Larry Lee & The Back again In the Day Band performed. Great Live Music and dancing is inspired. The pageant attributes a huge choice of local and national expertise within its juried good artwork display. A variety of art types consist of ceramics, drawing, material/fiber, glass, jewellery, leather, steel, portray, photography and sculpture.
